2nd May 2017 - Priocept achieves Google Cloud Platform certification

Having participated in the beta certification exam program in early 2017, Priocept consultants have now achieved Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect and Google Certified Professional Data Engineer status. This places Priocept in a select group of organisations that have officially demonstrated their expertise with Google Cloud Platform through the certification program.

Priocept has been working extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) since 2012, having first started with development on Google App Engine for various clients including WWF. Since then, Priocept software engineers and cloud infrastructure consultants have developed expertise in a broad range of GCP products including Compute Engine, Container Engine, Cloud Datastore, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Deployment Manager and Cloud ML (Machine Learning).

Google Cloud Platform is currently somewhat of a challenger brand in the cloud infrastructure market, but is catching up fast, and its underlying technology is second to none. At Priocept we have set the objective of being the leading consultancy partner for web and e-commerce infrastructure implementation on GCP, and will continue to invest in further research and certification of our Google Cloud infrastructure consultants, to keep abreast of the platform’s rapid evolution, said Dan Norris-Jones, Managing Director, Priocept.
