RNS Submit

We have published a new case study on RNS Submit, a system built by Priocept for the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

The original version of RNS Submit was a Windows desktop application backed by web services. In 2006, the LSE approached Priocept to replatform RNS Submit to a web-based application, with automated document conversion from Microsoft Word formats to XHTML. Priocept built the new system using Microsoft .Net 2.0 technologies, including the web front-end and the document processing engine.

The new version of RNS Submit went live in May 2008, and continues to lead the competition in this field, particularly with full round-trip XHTML editing of annoucements directly in the browser.

Paul Rennison, Head of Business Development for RNS at the London Stock Exchange, concludes:

The response from our customers to the new system has been very positive and has helped RNS retain the position of premier Regulatory Information Service in the UK market.
