- Dan Norris-Jones and AKQA launch new IT services company
LONDON. 28 May 2004 — Dan Norris-Jones and AKQA, the leading interactive marketing firm, have launched a new information technology services company called Priocept. Norris-Jones was originally a co-founder of AKQA. Priocept will provide software development, systems integration and technical consulting services, with a focus on applying internet technologies to business transformation and product development.
We see an opportunity to apply the AKQA approach and client service level to the IT services sector. Priocept will be 100% focused on providing outstanding client service and will combine this with a creative and innovative approach to managing and delivering technology projects.
Dan has been a great partner and colleague for the past nine years. It is very exciting to work in partnership with him on the launch of another company that is based on the same values as AKQA. The Board wishes Dan all the best in his new endeavour, and we look forward to working together on future client engagements.
Priocept will be opening offices in London in the near future. Norris-Jones has already hired a team of consultants and software engineers and expects to hire additional staff shortly.
